The process is this. These men got up to talk, and out of all the leaders that were there, they didn’t talk about learning.  They said, “When are you going to begin to practice what you’ve learned?” I said to them, “Thank you!” I was starving to hear somebody finally address that. I go to these apostolic leadership meetings with a bunch of apostles, but I don’t want to hear about being an apostle! Peter Wagner addressed me as an apostle back in the 90s. I know that’s who and what I am.  Look! When somebody called me a Christian when I first got saved, I’m not still trying to get them to convince me of that. I knew I was a Christian! If somebody has to convince you that you’re a man or a woman, something ain’t right. You don’t have to tell a chicken he’s a chicken. Or an eagle he’s an eagle. He doesn’t have to be told to soar and not eat like a chicken.

God wants us to come to a place to begin to accept the Word and what it says we are, and become, instead of just learning. Now, it’s time to practice it. If God’s called you to sing then you ought to be practicing. If God’s called you to be an evangelist then you need to be an evangelist. If God’s called you to some form of ministry or missions, you ought to be getting yourself ready for that.

This is not, as Hebrews 6:1 says, “Laying again the foundation”. Not laying again the foundation means we can’t crucify Jesus again. We can’t keep rehearsing the beginning methods of this great eternal journey. Get on with it!! What we do is we try to re-crucify the Lord. We can’t do that! People get genuinely saved and born again, and then they want to come and get saved again and again. Come on! You’ve got to decide if you are! And if you are, you are! I thank God that the day I got up from the altar I never went back and never had to get somebody to convince me. Ever! I knew God had walked into my life and I was a new creature. My soul still needed to be healed but my spirit man came alive.
